Center Street Local
An extra Morristown based local made a morning run to the Center Street Branch in Kearney to collect two loads from the CSX interchange. The crew would run to Lake Junction where they would await the regularly scheduled MO-1 which had spent the morning servicing customers on the Dover & Rockaway Branch. The MX-03 is pictured here with the railroads uniquely painted SW1500 leading alongside West Dewey Ave. Roughly 10 minutes after this image was taken the MO-1 would come through with M&E 18 leading a single empty hopper.
