| NS MOW crews unload parts of a switch from a track panel car that will be going in place on the control point crossover where the train is located. Signal and track improvements have been underway in the Ex-Southern Railway busy Charlotte to Greensboro, NC corridor for going on the last 10 years. With the majority of the work around the Salisbury area taking place the last 4 years. With new signals in place, double tracking almost complete. The upwards of 220 million dollar upgrades are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! |
