Except for the numbers that give away BN ownership, this could be a typical Great Northern scene at Brook Park, MN. BN is three months old, but they have already re-numbered the blue Geep and SD9. The morning Badger from St. Paul to Superior, WI (Bus into Duluth) is stopped to load/unload a handful of passengers as the Brook Park crew looks on. The St. Cloud based turn made weekday trips to meet overnight freights between Superior and Minneapolis and handle local business on the line. BN will continue passenger service for 11 more months, and the Badger Gopher service will not make it into Amtrak, although for a while there will be the Arrowhead offering one round trip a day.
