| An eastbound coal train works east at sunset towards Galesburg. the train is currently between Ottumwa and Burlington in south-central Iowa. The SD70MAC's have an uncertain future. Early in 2017 only about 100 of them were in service, and none have received PTC upgrades. The late 90's and most of 2000's, these units were the backbone for the BNSF coal service. |
