Remarks & Notes
Amtrak's California Zephyr blast off from the station stop at Galesburg. The next station will be Burlington, IA, on the Ottumwa Side. 20 of these 500 series locomotives were delivered to Amtrak in 1991. They were commonly nicknamed "Pepsi Cans." All of these units have been repainted in Phase V livery and mainly assigned to yard service.
