I can't have a Top 10 list without a few steam shots, so here's the largest active steam locomotive east of the Mississippi, N&W 4-8-4 611, climbing one of the most impressive grades east of the Mississippi, the eastbound climb out of Roanoke up the Blue Ridge mountains.
