The West Virginia Great Train Race... An annual tradition at the Durbin & Greenbrier Valley Railroad, the Great Train Race is a public event that consists of a race between diesels and steam at the horseshoe curve in old Spruce. For 2016, Western Maryland BL2 No. 82 competed with newly restored Cass Scenic Shay No. 2. Want to place bets on who won?
