| Alot of the IMRL power was anything but decent. Alot of it was wore out and handed down power dating back to as early as 1966. All we did then was beat on it even more, I was guilt of that many days. Some of this IMRL/MRL power stayed when the DM&E took over the IMRL in 2002. The IMRL 206/208/209 were rebuilt in 2007 by the DM&E to dash 3's and renumbered ICE 6100-6102. As you can see not much care was taken in painting out the previous owner as the I&M Rail Link fads thru. It just went with the conditions these units were in much of their life. |
