Remarks & Notes

The spacer car local approaches it's major customer, PPG Industries west of Shelby. The spacer was needed to spread the load on the Buffalo Creek trestle near Blacksburg, SC. Just east of here, the train had used CSX trackage for a few miles that was the result of a mid-80's trackage rights swap.
