The Rotary Club of White River's 10th Annual Polar Express train is seen awaiting the arrival of Santa as it sits at the North Pole station in Norwich, Vermont, on the evening of December 11. VTR GP40-2 307 led the trips northbound, while Green Mountain Railroad cab car 1317 led the trips back to White River Jct.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
