| UP 4527 is speeding east on the Shafter Sub. at Delle, Utah. Stack trains such as this IOAG2 are not often seen on the ex Western Pacific Shafter Sub, but rather usually operate on the faster Lakeside sub to the north which crosses the Great Salt Lake. The train is leaning into this superelevated curve and will continue around the south side of the Lake and on to Salt Lake City about 50 miles ahead. From Salt Lake it will go north to Ogden, Utah and then east on the Overland Route to Chicago. |
