| Part steam charter, part necessity. Heavy winter snow necessitated that the OY Rotary be used for the first time in over a decade in order to open the line for the summer tourist season. In my 30 plus years of taking pictures. I have never seen anything as spectacular as these three steamer taking on the mountain. The sights and sound of OY, 487 and 488 doing battle with Cumbres Pass was incredible. |
