CN 5090 races a CN hotshot freight west along the Thompson River at Martel siding east of Spences Bridge in August 1975. Not far behind it the Super Continental is making time as both trains roll west into the canyons of the Thompson and Fraser Rivers en route to Boston Bar and Vancouver, BC.
