Remarks & Notes

A Morrison-Knudsen leased SD40-2 heads up a westbound BN stack train crossing Nason Creek trestle near Gaynor Tunnel just east of the east switch for Berne siding. Berne siding is just east of the Cascade Tunnel. Colorful consists were pretty common on BN during its last year of operation. The 25 year old railroad would become BNSF on September 22, 1995.
