It is interesting how a different focal length and different framing can change a view. Another of my photos of this train on Joso bridge was posted on RP a few weeks ago, that wide angle version emphasized the length of the bridge and the long train of tank cars. This telephoto version from virtually the same spot emphasizes the height of the bridge, the interesting shadows on the bluffs behind, and the brightly lit train contrasting with the shadows. A friend had hiked up the hill to my left to get yet another view. It is a fascinating location with so many options, but often difficult to get a train a the right time. We were lucky.
