| I first caught sight of this eastbound BNSF train as I pulled off I80 at the Lakeside, Utah exit. But by the time I got my camera out and turned on it had passed by me. I quickly backtracked east 8 miles to the next exit at Delle and managed to get this shot of the three times a week BNSF trackage rights train on the Union Pacific's Shafter Sub. That dull background is due to a layer of Utah's winter haze. It's a common problem when high pressure is over us. |
