An eastbound stack train wastes little time rounding the sweeping curve at Ancona along BNSF's busy Chillicothe Subdivision. Until 1982 the Santa Fe operated a branch line from this location, know as "Ancona Station" at the time, to Pekin, just south of Peoria. Though the line is long gone, the right of way can still be seen in many areas.
