Remarks & Notes

On a cool morning we catch Missionary Ridge Local TVRM 100 as it crosses over the Chickamauga creek heading for Grand Junction for its first run of the day. Restored Southern Rwy GP30 number 2594A made its appearance to the Tennessee Valley Railroad back in 2008 as a long term leased locomotive from the Southeastern Railway Museum. Southern 2594A is one of 3 Southern Rwy high-hood that is in operation under a museum preservation organization.
