Remarks & Notes
Newly restored Baldwin S160 class Consolidation No. 1702 breaks through the hue of fall color on the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad on Sunday, October 16, 2016. Engine No. 1702 was built in 1942 to serve the Unites States Army, but today the locomotive leads excursions through the majestic North Carolina mountains.
