Remarks & Notes
The Fog Spot, Revisited As the sun begins to rise, CN 8833 leads four SD70M-2's (3+1) as they head into the sun, approaching Amherst, Nova Scotia. The New Brunswick/Nova Scotia border is located around where the signals are in the background. This is the same location where I shot my PCA fog shot. This is how it looks, sans fog. My fog shot can be found at: http://www.railpictures.net/photo/583099

Railroad Pole Lines

Album created by member Matt Weldon

Photos showing the railroad pole lines. The pole line used four basic electrical circuits - telegraph, telephone, signaling, and power. Modern technologies of fiber optics, microwave, radio, satellite, and computers have been replacing the pole lines.
