| A former Norfolk and Western High Hood SD40-2 and a N&W caboose work their way through Hartford Illinois to work the many refineries and industries in the area.
NS 1635 was built in September of 1973 as Norfolk and Western 1635. Its neat that this engine has keep its original number all 43 years its been in operation. This engine is one of only 11 High Hood SD40-2s left on NS active locomotive engine roster as of September of 2016. |
