Test run of the new maintenance vehicle (EHFZ, Erhaltungsfahrzeug) for the Gotthard Base Tunnel, Xem 181 # 011, built by Harsco Rail in Aachen/Germany. The self propelled vehicle can run under 15000 V 16,7 Hz AC and with a 700 kW diesel. The Re 4/4 II # 11144 serves as load on the 2.6 % grade of the line from Solothurn to Gänsbrunnen.
