Remarks & Notes

At a dusty grade crossing somewhere in the Colorado mountains, a brand new Model A Ford grinds to a halt. A golden glow reflecting on shiny railheads from around the curve is soon joined by the sharp bark of a C-19 and the cry of a 5-chime. Soon the late-night express from Denver clatters by, with kerosene markers flickering in the still night. Photo taken at the night photo shoot at the Colorado Railroad Museum, during the 2016 NRHS Convention in Denver. Lighting by Steve Barry and Michael Burkhart.
