Remarks & Notes
What a beauty! The elegant four cylinder compound express train steamlocomotive A 3/5 # 705 was built in 1904 by the SLM in Winterthur. Running for SBB Historic nowadays, based in Brugg (AG) and maintained and operated by a very experienced and ambitious crew. The tilted low pressure cylinders are inside the frame, working on the first coupled axle. The smaller high pressure cylinders outside the frame are working to the middle coupled axle after De Glehn.
