Remarks & Notes

Having been just started and added to the front of the train at Lithgow, early 1960's locos GM27 & S317 produce an impressive amount of smoke as they thunder through Bowenfels with 1845N empty containers from Cook's River to Kelso. Combined with some help from some more modern power, the train is hauled by GM27, S317, G513, BRM001 & BRM002 for the Lithgow to Kelso part of the run.
