| The End of an Era. At 10:56 AM on August 28, 2016. The New York Central signal bridge that has stood at mile post 400 for over 60 years was removed by CSX and contractor crews after new signals were cut in at 3:00 AM. Dozens of these bridges were removed from MP398 to MP 425 by over 150 crew members over the course of the day. |
