Remarks & Notes

A new look for the 425, with a gold and black number plate replacing the gold and red plate. Also new this year is the gondola for hauling bikes up to Old Penn Haven, where cyclists disembark for an 8-mile run downgrade, back to Jim Thorpe. Behind the gondola: three open-cars, three open-window coaches, and a caboose for the day's four well-patronized trips.
