| After a brief crew change at Farmer's Crossing, NS 212 accelerates by the north entrance to Norfolk Southern's Linwood Yard on a frigid January afternoon. The clouds make for a dazzling backdrop, and are a sign of what was to come: less than 24 hours later, the entire region would be blanketed by several inches of snow. |
