Cogwheel steam locomotive HG 2/3 # 6 "Weisshorn" of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke (DFB) is beeing turned on the turntable in Furka station, 2160 meter a.s.l. This 0-4-2 coal fired locomotive was built in 1902 by SLM Winterthur for the Visp-Zermatt Bahn (VZ). On the Furka pass line, the locomotive has to go down the 11.0 % ramps chimney mountain side always (water level in the boiler!). The VZ is all level or going up towards Zermatt and so she had never to be turned there.
