| It is a gorgeous Saturday afternoon in Colorado, somewhat rare during smoke and monsoon season. BNSF 8782 starts approximately 50 cars of manifest out of Rollins Siding. The train has just met Amtrak which can be seen on the far right of the picture heading east on the Moffat Road. Remnants of the large ice operation can be seen to the right of the locomotives. Most pictures of the ice operation I have seen looked fairly dilapidated by the mid-1920s |
