After 19 years of slavery in freight service for the New York & Atlantic Railway, LI #106 is finally back in its owner's shop after coming off lease. She will live out retirement shunting short cuts of coaches and locomotives around the Richmond Hill yards, a far cry from being overworked and abused on freight duty.
