Remarks & Notes
Due to the CBTC (Communications-Based Train Control) project currently underway on the No.7 Flushing line, the R62A's are fast disappearing as they are moved to the No.6 Lexington Avenue line and replaced on the 7 by R188's. On a crisp and sunny February morning in a scene symbolic of the changeover, a Manhattan-bound train of R62A cars is arriving at the 33rd Street station, while a train of R188's is stopped at the opposite platform, heading towards Flushing-Main Street.
