| Amtrak 'pointless arrow' heritage motor #156 has command of a 4 car Amtrak executive special which among other Amtrak and BNSF executives onboard is Amtrak's outgoing CEO Joe Boardman. The special is traversing some rare mileage on its journey between Los Angeles and Modesto, CA as it slips down the Tehachapi grade between the sidings of Cliff and Bealville on Union Pacific's Mojave Subdivision. At right is the remains of tunnel 4, abandoned in 1952, beyond the train is Clear Creek Ravine. |
