It's the last month of GG-1 operations on the Broadway Limited to and from Harrisburg, as No. 4927 thunders eastbound downgrade at better than a mile-a-minute, crossing the Chiques (or Chickies) Creek and the Old Harrisburg Pike. The 4927 was built by Altoona/GE in March of 1943 as the PRR 4934. It was first renumbered as Amtrak's 927, but a "4" was added in anticipation of the 900-series AEM-7 deliveries.
