Fleeing from the bad wheater
In the French Pyrenees the SNCF operates a small narrow gauge train - the "Train Jaune" (Yellow Train). The line runs from Villefrance-de-Conflent up to Latour-de-Carol where the RENFE Line from Barcelona and the SNCF line from Toulouse make connection. The electrified line runs with a third rail and operates nowadays the (rebuilt) trainsets from 1910. In the first stretch of the line up to to the station of Bolquère-Eyne (with 1593 m above sea level the highest station on the SNCF network) the line crosses twice the valley on big bridges. One of the is the Pont Séjourné, seen here with a train to Font-Romeu.
