Passing a classic Canadian Pacific water tank, a westbound CP grain train led by Union Pacific EMD SD9043MAC No. 8298 rumbles through Cranbrook, British Columbia, on July 24, 2011. The unique octagonal water tower is enclosed by an outer wooden shell which helped insulate the tank from frigid weather, and used a small coal stove inside to keep the water from freezing. It has been moved from its original location from across the tracks and is now part of the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel in Cranbrook.
