| "Japanese" 251 # 010 is pulling a long train with steel coils (probably weighing about 2000 ton) south through the valley of the Bernesga river near Villanueva de la Tercia, on the Pajares pass line over the cantabrian mountain range.
The 30 powerful locomotives of the 251 series are the backbone of this impressive mountain line in the north of Spain, opened in 1884 already. |
