| Leaving the floor of the Antelope Valley Union Pacific's westbound MWCRVB labors up Ansel Hill north of Rosamond under the early morning sun. US&S searchlights still protected Ansel on St. Patrick's Day 2013 but by years end these venerable old signals as well as the searchlights at Oban and those on the Palmdale Cutoff between East Palmdale and Cajon Pass would be replaced by new hooded tri-light signals. |
