For a peso or two (5 cents), these enterprising young men will push you the last mile to your village on one of these homemade rail carts.
This is however a busy commuter line with trains every half an hour in each direction so whenever a train comes in to view, everyone jumps off whilst they lift the cart off the rails, stands to the side and lets the train past and then its back on again! Its a well honed technique and the passengers know the routine well.
