"Throwing the Switch at New Canaan Yard"
The engineer of a deadhead train from New Canaan heading to Stamford throws the switch to align the track so that his train can exit the yard. Once clear of the switch, the conductor at the rear of the train will realign the switch back to its normal position.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
