DMIR SD18 181 idles at Keenan Yard near Iron Junction, MN on June 18, 1986. This shot shows a good detail view of a factory built Missabe SD18 from 1960, albeit in the newer Arrowhead scheme. Missing is the speaker on the roof above the engineer side of the cab. Missabe's SD18s featured chicken wire grillwork like earlier SD9s. Later SD18s had the rectangular grid more like GP20s and GP30s in appearance.
