| Sometimes we take what we see for granted. Things change for the good or bad. Take this scene. The image here was taken in June 2011. Within one years time the leader will have been rebuilt by CP and have been renumbered (6254) and painted into the new CP corporate look. By 2013 the old signal mast in picture will be gone and headed to the junk pile forever changing a classic spot to take photos for ever. Now in 2016 with new NS ownership of this line its for sure that there is going to be some capital investment eliminatig the Stick Rail on the Control siding and removal of whats left of the code line making for even more a blander scene. Much different from when I first discovered this spot some 20 years ago. |
