The New York Susquehanna & Western operated an uncommon daylight freight over the Southern Tier in the form of NYSW BH-X which was bringing a single high and wide to Port Jervis. The crew had an interesting set of power, the leader is the brand-new NYSW 3012, originally a tunnel motor like its trailing counterpart NYSW 3014. The NYS&W sent out 3012 and 3016 for rebuild and both units were rebuilt from the ground up into SD33-ECO's but still retain their original cabs. This freight marks this first revenue run of an SD33-ECO on the Susquehanna and offered those willing to brave the frigid temperatures a rare chance to catch a daylight freight on the Southern Tier.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
