The South Itasca, WI, to Des Moines, IA, manifest train rolls thru the hogbacks on the UP's Spineline. This train is about 30 miles south of Mason City and is making the final leg of the trip into Des Moines. The 2 patches on the nose is a small improvement, but the paint is far from the SP days when it was delivered in the new speed lettering. The 6193 is the ex-SP 138 built April 1995.
