Remarks & Notes
Olin-Mathieson 2-8-0 #11 leads a short train at Saltville, VA in Sept. 1960. This engine is the oldest surviving Norfolk & Western locomotive which currently sits on static display in the Town of Saltville. It was purchased from the N&W in 1921 and worked in Saltville until it was retired and donated to the town in 1961.
