Remarks & Notes
A CN unit sulfur train gets under way at Boston Bar, BC after a crew change. The westbound train is headed for North Vancouver where its loads will transfer to ships for export. The station which at this time was serving CN crews and VIA customers has been moved away from the tracks. Crews for both CN and CP still change here on westbound movements through the Fraser Canyon.

The EMD SD (special duty) series are a strong and reliable kind of locomotive which still serve America's rails today. They have proved themselves reliable by clocking in several million miles of freight service over several decades.
