Remarks & Notes
Tripleheaded E-33s are slowing to negotiate the eastbound switch at Port Interlocking. The now-preserved CR 4604 (as VGN 135 in Roanoke) is leading; this locomotive was built in November, 1956 as a VGN Class EL-C, and was later renumbered to NW 235, NH 304, and PC 4604. It eventually wore Conrail Blue before its retirement from active service. (See photo 551008.)
