UP 5988 and an SD70M lead a coal train east around a curve approaching Rodell siding east of Fall Creek, WI. Having watched (and chased) trains on this former "Route of the 400" mainline, it was gratifying to see the investment UP has made in the line with much improved track and newer signaling. We paced this train at just under 60 MPH for several miles, and did not get another shot of it until it stopped at Merrillan, WI another 30 or so miles east.
