| Sequatchie Valley Railroad (SQVR) 1205 sit in the former CSX Bridgeport Yard in Bridgeport, Ala started its railroad career in 1972 as Southern Pacific 2635 when SP was its own railroad. This old SW1500 had seen thousands of rail miles, and work plenty of local jobs. Later in its career it was repainted and was part of the Union Pacific Locomotive roster once UP bought out the SP railroad during the super merger of the mid 90s. Sequatchie Valley Railroad had purchase this old switcher in 2012, and it is one of the most used motor on the Sequatchie Valley Railroad doing various task along the old L&N Dunlap branch. |
