Remarks & Notes |
A lone AMT coach over the highway. AMT 734 is stopped on the CP bridge over highway 20 for an unknown reason (it probably was just released from nearby Canadian Allied Diesel). Not too long after this photo was taken, an eclectic lashup made up of CP 3024, CP 3120, CEFX 1033 & CP 8751 would couple up and push the car eastwards. These 700 series cars would be taken out of service in the summer of 2010 when AMT received a large order of Bombardier multilevel cars. Since then these 700 series cars have been refurbished and repainted and they reentered service in the fall of 2013. A faded 'Dominion Bridge' marking can be seen on the bridge. That company built this bridge and were located a short distance from here. |
